Home inspections across North Georgia & metro Atlanta
I’m based in Flowery Branch, and I inspect homes within about an hour and a half’s drive: from Blue Ridge and Hiawassee down through metro Atlanta, and from Woodstock across to Athens. Wherever the house is, I do the inspection myself.

Dahlonega & the mountains
Mountain homes, decks and wooded lots.

Some of my work takes me up into the mountains, from Dahlonega and Helen to the lake homes around Hiawassee. Cabins and lake homes in the woods have a few things in common, and the same issues come up again and again:
- Decks and railings that hang off a slope get a hands-on check: the posts, the visible connections and the railings.
- Wood siding takes a beating from carpenter bees, and woodpeckers hunting them can tear it open, sometimes right through to the inside.
- Roofs under heavy tree cover often have moss, damaged shingles or leaks, so I check them from above when it’s safe, along the eaves and from the attic.
- A well or a septic system: many mountain homes have one or both, and each needs its own specialist evaluation, so ask the seller early.
It’s the same inspector and the same 24-hour report up there. Buying a cabin? Tell me about the driveway and the deck when you reach out. Buying in or around Dahlonega? See the Dahlonega & Lumpkin County guide →
Metro Atlanta
Home inspections across metro Atlanta.
I inspect across metro Atlanta, from in-town Atlanta and Decatur to Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell and Johns Creek, and from Marietta and Kennesaw up to Woodstock. Many of those clients come to me through their agent, and it’s the same inspector and the same 24-hour report.
Buying north of the city? See my guide to Atlanta’s northern suburbs →
Wherever the house is
Ten minutes away or an hour and a half, it’s still me.
I don’t send anybody else. Wherever the house is, I inspect it top to bottom myself, your photo report is in your inbox within 24 hours, and when questions come up later, you know how to find me.
Need more than a home inspection? I also do new construction inspections, radon testing, sewer scopes, mold testing, pool and spa inspections and floor plans, and, where it’s available, I can arrange a termite letter through ProCare Pest Control.
First inspection? Here’s what to expect, step by step. Booking for a client? See my page for agents.
